Ruoxin started learning Guzheng at the age of 9 under the guidance of Mdm Lin Zhong and subsequently under Mdm Yin Qun and Ms Indra Chen. In 2014, she took the Diploma Guzheng exam from Shanghai Conservatory Of Music - Shangyin Music School Chinese Music Examination and achieved Distinction. From primary school to university, she have been an active member in Guzheng Ensemble and Chinese Orchestra CCAs, participating in yearly performances, competitions, and served as the principal player or student instructor of Guzheng.
