1. What Equipment Does My Child Need to Play the Guzheng?

The Guzheng instrument is typically provided by the school. However, your child will need:

• A set of Guzheng nails (picks) that fit their finger size
• Plaster tape to secure the nails during playing

Plastic nails are recommended for beginners as they are affordable and durable. These can be upgraded as your child progresses.

Tip: Kids often misplace their nails as frequently as their stationery. A plastic set is ideal to start with.

2. Should I Get a Guzheng for Home Practice?

Yes. Even short, daily practice at home helps reinforce skills and speeds up progress. Without it, your child may forget what they learned in CCA sessions.
